In Summer of 2024, Tom will bring eight shows to the Edinburgh Fringe under the banner of Brooklyn Bottling Company. He is co-creating and directing Sarina Freda’s no no no please no god no, nevermind i’m fine which will has previews at The Tank, The Elysian and 59E59’s East To Edinburgh. He is directing Brett Epstein: Alone on Stage which has previews at 59E59.
He Associate Directed the Broadway revival of American Buffalo, directed by Neil Pepe and starring Laurence Fishburne, Sam Rockwell and Darren Criss.
He has been a Drama League Directing Fellow at the Hangar Theatre where he directed The Messenger by Olivia Dufault and Aesop’s Fables by Christopher Parks.
He is a co-founder of The Debt Gala, an alternative fashion event which started in 2023 and takes place the night before the Met Gala to raise money for medical debt-related causes. The Debt Gala has been featured in the New York Times, The New Yorker, The Associated Press, Reuters, Pix11, and more.
He was an Associate Artist at the Flea Theater where he directed the world premieres of Smoke by Kim Davies (NYT Critic’s Pick).
He is the Artistic Director of NYU Productions at Atlantic Acting School, producing over three dozen plays, after having served as the Artistic Director of Alumni Productions, where he has directed and produced many shows, including John Early and Nicole Spiezio’s The Witchelor which he co-directed with John Early.
He was Pipeline Theatre Company’s Associate Artistic Director and spent four years running its PlayLab, a residency for new work of unbridled imagination, in which time he directed many plays, readings and workshops.
His play, Goodwin, has been workshopped in two years of Fresh Ground Pepper’s BRB Program and received a Forge Fuel Residency.
He was selected as a co-writer for the New Victory’s LabWorks program for development of a TYA musical with writer/composer Brendan Dalton.
He has devised work with theater artists which teaching in under-served populations in Ecuador and Slovakia as part of Dramatic Adventure Theatre.
Tom has a BFA from NYU/Tisch and completed the APP Program at FAMU film school in Prague where he concentrated in Screenwriting. He is as a faculty member at Atlantic Acting School, where he also trained. More teaching information can be found here.
